Privacy Policy

What we collect. This site does not ask you to create an account and does not collect names, addresses or payment details. If analytics is enabled, we collect aggregated usage data such as pages viewed, approximate region, device type, referring site and interactions with links.

Analytics. We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles are read and which links are used. Google processes this data on our behalf; see Google's own privacy documentation for details of its handling and retention.

Affiliate links. When you click a link to a retailer, that retailer may set its own cookies to attribute the visit. We may receive a report telling us that a purchase occurred, but we do not receive your name, address, payment details or the contents of your basket.

Third parties. Product images for Amazon listings are loaded directly from Amazon's image servers. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These providers necessarily see the IP address of the request.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and use its Do Not Track or tracking-prevention features. Blocking cookies does not stop you reading anything on this site.

Children. This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes. If this policy changes materially we will update this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
